Our Background

Equala is a student-led international group tackling gender inequality through means such as educating, informing, and inspiring. Founded in July of 2022, Equala is led by TBD core members who each act as the leader of each individual section. There are in total 4 sections: education sector, Informative sector, Activity sector, and collaboration sector. As the current generation of youth, we came together for a number of reasons. Some were concerned about the changing state of reproductive rights in the United States of America. Some were concerned about the lack of female representation in almost all governments around the world. All were ready to take action for a more diverse and equal society for the current and future generations.
