Recent gender and sexuality movements has greatly inspired and motivated me to create something of my own to contribute to solving this issue. Furthermore, I understand that there is a need to tackle this issue so that we are able to create a society where everyone has a fair opportunity to achieve excellence.

I was always greatly interested in the topic of gender equity, and found the chance to participate in related activities beneficial in not only satisfying my own interests but also shaping my future interests.

I have always been interested in being able to project on contemporary issues, and I am grateful that Equala is able to nurture such a platform.

Coming from countries with conservative views myself, I have always been eager in spreading awareness about gender equality. Therefore, I thought that as a co-founder of Equala, it could give me the opportunity to be more openly active about this issue.

I have always been interested in gender equity and taking action has been something I haven’t had many opportunities to do. I joined this organization to finally be able to speak up for gender equity and offer my support as much as I can.

Feminism is always fascinating to me, and ever since Yui invited me to this wonderful group, I couldn’t be more excited.

Born in the US and living internationally for most of my life, I’ve noticed that issues surrounding gender were common regardless of the country or culture. Thus, as I am passionate about striving for a more equitable and inclusive world, I jumped at the opportunity to join this fantastic team.

Born to the ever-changing era of social reform, I have always been made to feel informed with developing goals such like gender equality. In fostering this energy by way of adopting this voice, I would love to inform, too, as part of the Equala Team.

Gender and Sexuality is a topic that's not very talked about in St. Marys, an all-boys school. My goal for the SMIS Equala club is to hopefully have SMIS students be more aware of the issues going around so that they are more compatible with the outside world.
